Federal Government places travel restrictions on ministers and other officials

Minister of Information, Culture and Tourism, Lai Mohammed has announced that henceforth Ministers and some other government officials will only be allowed to travel outside the country 8 times a year. 

Ministers have also been directed not to go on foreign trips more than twice in a quarter. Lai Mohammed also announced that Ministers are now expected to travel with only 4 aides relevant to each trip outside the country. Government officials below the rank of ministers are henceforth entitled to fewer aides on foreign trips. 

He also disclosed that estacode will no longer be calculated on hourly basis.
